Per reftel, on November 3, Emboffs delivered the letter from
Secretary Clinton on the UN-USG Food Security proposal to Ministry
of Foreign Affairs Director of U.S. and Canadian Affairs Adriana
Maldonado, with copies to Minister of Agriculture Juan Camilo
Salazar and Minister of Social Protection Carlos Ignacio Cuervo.
Maldonado informed us that she would pass the proposal to the
appropriate officials for comment. Post will report back on any
substantive official response.
