1. On January 30, Post delivered all points in reftel to
Patricia Cortes, Director of the MFA's Office of U.S. and
Canadian Affairs. Cortes told us that the Colombian
Government's point of contact for NPT related issues will be
Nhora Quintero, Coordinator for Disarmament in the MFA. The
Embassy point of contact will be S. Tovan McDaniel,
Political-Military Affairs Officer in the Political Section.
Cortes said the MFA would examine the reftel questions and
provide a GOC response as soon as possible.
