1. (SBU) SUMMARY. This is the monthly Air Bridge Denial (ABD)
activity report for May, 2009, as required by Reftel. The
Government of Colombia (GOC) sorted 3,137 tracks during December.
Four were declared Unknown, Assumed Suspect (UAS). There were no
Phase I/II/III events this month. END SUMMARY.

2. (SBU) In May, 2009, there were 3,137 air tracks over Colombia of
which four were declared Unknown, Assumed Suspect (UAS). Host
Nation responded to all. Two were not located. The other two were
visually identified in the Caribbean Sea and the information was
passed on to Central American authorities.

Flight Operations
--------------
3. (SBU) In May 2009, the Citations flew 198 hours in 87 sorties
with a 92% OR rate. Of the 87 sorties, 34 were for GOC ABD
intelligence gathering and patrolling; 14 for training; 25 were for
maritime patrolling, three were in reaction to GOC-provided
information, eight for operational support, and two were non-ABD
missions.
