¶1. Post delivered the diplomatic note regarding the
Passenger Name Record (PNR) agreement per reftel instructions
to the GOS on December 23, 2008. Post subsequently received
the responsive Swiss diplomatic note (number 344.1) also
dated December 23, 2008 confirming the agreement was to take
effect on December 23.
¶2. Per reftel instructions, Post has forwarded a certified
copy of post's note and the original GOS note to the
Department's Office of Treaty Affairs.
¶3. Post greatly appreciates the efforts of L, EEB and DHS to
ensure timely completion of this agreement.
