(S) On May 14, EconOff delivered ref non-paper to German MFA
Export Control Division Desk Officer Iris Wilczoch regarding
an Iranian effort to procure Baratron Absolute Capacitance
Manometers from the German firm MKS Instruments Deutschland
GmbH in support of Iran's nuclear program. Wilczoch said she
would deliver the ref information to the appropriate export
controls authorities at the German Federal Office of
Economics and Export Control (BAFA) and report back any
findings. Post will report any substantive German response
septel.
