(S) On January 13, we delivered reftel demarche to MFA Export
Control Division Desk Officer Nancy Reck. Even though the
connectors are not MTCR-listed, Reck acknowledged the
practical use of military standard electrical connectors for
Iran's ballistic missile and uranium enrichment programs and
agreed to share the nonpaper with German export control
authorities. Post will report any substantive German
response septel.
