(S) On August 25, EconOff delivered ref A non-paper to MFA
Export Control Division Desk Officer, Nancy Reck, regarding
an Iranian procurement attempt for French origin connectors
from a German firm. Reck thanked the USG for the non-paper
and said she would deliver it to the appropriate export
control authorities at the German Federal Office of Economics
and Export Control (BAFA) and report back any findings. Post
will report any substantive German response septel.
