1.(U) PolOff, on December 7, 2009 PolOff met with MFA Americas Desk
Officer Ayesha Borland to deliver Ref A demarche and Ref b
supplementary documents.
¶2. (U) Borland said the GoB is still discussing the resolution;
however, she believes that Belize will abstain when the resolution
is presented for a vote. Although she did not disagree with the
talking points and USG position on the resolution, Borland cited
challenges with voting against the majority of the NAM.
