Per reftel instructions, post delivered the demarche on the
implementation of UNSCR 1874 to the Director for the Administration
for the Prevention of Money laundering (APML) in the Ministry of
Finance Aleksandar Vujicic and Third Secretary in the Far East,
Australia, and Pacific Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Irena Sarac. Both officials said the Government of Serbia routinely
follows similar UNSCR requests and indicated that GOS would do the
same in implementing the financial provisions of UNSCR 1874. Vujicic
said he would enter the provided list of known North Korean banks in
the APML's database and share the information with appropriate
Serbian law enforcement agencies.
