Per reftel, post delivered the IRENA points to the Foreign Ministry
Directorate for Human Rights and Environment, First Secretary Vladan
Lazovic. Lazovic said the Serbian Government intended to support
Germany's bid to host the IRENA headquarters and cited appreciation
for the fact that Germany sponsored the January 2009 conference as
the reason for this decision. Lazovic said that he was unsure
whether Serbia would be able to attend the Egypt meeting due to
budgetary constraints.
