1. (SBU) MFA Political Director Borko Stefanovic told Charge on
November 17 that Serbia has decided to be out of the room during
the upcoming Iran votes in the U.N. General Assembly Third
Committee (reftel).
2. (SBU) According to Stefanovic, who informed the Iranian Charge
of Serbia's stance on November 17, Israeli Foreign Minister
Lieberman and Canadian Foreign Minister Cannon personally
intervened with Foreign Minister Jeremic, leading to Serbia's
decision to be absent.
