¶1. (SBU) Post conveyed reftel A points to First Secretary
Namol Yuthavong of the MFA Department of International
Organizations (IO) on March 2. Namol told us that she would
officially register the change in U.S. position within the
MFA, and that she would conduct a further review of our views
on the Durban Review Conference. Points pertaining to the
Durban Review Conference had been previously discussed in a
separate meeting on February 20 with Namol and IO Deputy
Director-General Ittiporn Boonpracong (reftel B).
