EXECUTIVE ORDER 13126 LIST

1. The EMBASSY appreciates the Department of Labor's
consultation with diplomatic posts abroad on its draft
revised list of products that have been "mined, produced or
manufactured using forced or indentured child labor" pursuant
to Executive Order (EO) 13126. Post concurs with the list, as
relevant to Thailand, provided in reftel. Post also
appreciates the Department of Labor's commitment to make
available detailed press guidance and frequently asked
questions prior to the publication of both the E.O. 13126
list and the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization
Act (TVPRA) list. We also recommend that such information
include a list of sources used in making the Department's
determination, as that will help us deal with questions that
will likely arise.
