Post appreciates OBO's quick concurrence on the need for more office space, and its recognition of the excellent opportunity the soon to be vacated USAID office space in the GPF Witthaya Tower A represents. ¶2. Post has collected and is forwarding the items requested in paragraph 2 of Reftel A to Daniel O'Donoghue in OBO/PRE/BAS. ¶3. Total desks to relocate to the GPF building is 102. ICASS desks total 66, including 30 from the Regional Human Resource Office, and 36 from various General Services Office components including: Mission Visits, Customs and Shipping, Procurement and the Supervisory GSO. The Public Affairs Section has 36 desks, as well as space for the Information Resource Center and a multipurpose room for general public diplomacy programming. ¶4. Post ICASS council has been briefed, and fully supports the plan to take over the USAID leases in the GPF building. In addition, the appropriate offices in the EAP Bureau have been notified regarding the space for the Public Affairs Section, and the possible need for additional program funds. John
