Dear Mr. President,
Please allow me to thank you most sincerely for our dinner and
discussion in Baku on July 10. I deeply appreciate your hospitality
and the opportunity our dinner presented for us to exchange views
directly on several questions of mutual interest, such as the
Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, defense and security cooperation,
and energy issues.
I look forward to continuing our dialogue on these and many other
important questions and further deepening the longstanding and
successful cooperation between our countries.
Sincerely,
James B. Steinberg
