2. Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act, post
requests the Department's assistance in screening the following
candidate from the Iraqi Security Forces who has been nominated to
participate in training in the United States.
3. The name of the proposed candidate follows:
NAME: Bassam Hussein Ramadham AL-BASSAM
POSITION: Major/Special Investigations, Inspector General, Ministry
of Interior
DOB: 28 June 1972
TYPE OF TRAINING: Site visit to observe IG systems and organizations
incorporating organizational planning, investigations, inspections
and auditing.
TRAINING LOCATION: Washington D.C., Arlington, VA
DATES OF TRAINING: 11-22 March 2010
