1. (U) On April 15, POLOFF delivered reftel points on the formal
announcement of United States candidacy to the UN Human Rights
Council (HRC) to George Panagiotidis, Embassy AttachC) for the UN
Directorate at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). In
response, Panagiotidis reiterated Greece's support for U.S.
candidacy to the UNHRC.
