1. (SBU) Per REFTEL, on February 18 POLOFF informed Elias
Photopoulos, Director of the Greek MFA D4 Directorate of
Human Rights, of our points on the Durban Review Conference
Working Group Session. Photopoulos stated that Greece will
follow the EU consensus at the Working Group Session. He
noted that EU countries "also don't like" the references to
Israel, defamation of religions, and slavery reparation in
the text, and said that he understood U.S. concerns very well.


2. (SBU) Post will forward any further Greek response to
Washington.
