redline points to UNGA Officer George Panagiotidis of the Greek MFA
D1 Directorate for the UN and International Organizations and
Conferences. Panagiotidis thanked PolOff for sharing the specifics
of the proposed redlines and promised to immediately share the
demarche with his superiors and the Greek delegation in New York.
DCM McCarthy reiterated the points during a mid-day meeting with
Ambassador Themistoklis Dimidis, head of the MFA A6 Directorate for
the Middle East. Dimidis noted that the walkout redlines "sounded
like the normal procedure" and expressed support for an EU
consensus on the matter.
