EXHIBITION, AUGUST 20-22
1. On July 1, 2009, Post received a letter from the Chamber
of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan announcing the
international exhibition "Turkmen Construction 2009,"
scheduled for August 20-22, 2009 in Ashgabat. The Ministry
of Construction, The Ministry of Construction Materials Industry,
The "Turkmen Roads" State Concern, and The Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of Turkmenistan will be organizers of the event.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the exhibition is
to demonstrate the results achieved in the construction sector
in the past few years. The organizers will also arrange a
conference called "Development of the Turkmen Construction
Industry in the Great Revival Epoch."
2. The exhibition will include the following sections:
- construction technology (load-and-carry equipment, road
construction machines, erection equipment, earthmoving
equipment, road rollers, piling equipment, elevators,
excavators, crushers);
- construction equipment and finishing tools (construction
elevators, equipment for armature pretensioning, trestle
scaffold)
- equipment for construction materials production (equipment
for brickyards, equipment for rock materials dabbing, concrete
batching plants, and cement factories)
- special equipment (concrete laying equipment, bridge
measuring equipment)
- spare parts for construction equipment (engines, hydraulics,
measuring equipment)
3. Applicants should contact Ms. Ayna Karayeva of the Chamber
of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan at expo@online.tm for
further information, details, and organizational support and
to receive the necessary applications and contracts.
4. All U.S. agencies are invited to inform relevant
organizations in the U.S. about this event.
