TRADE SHOW, SEPTEMBER 28-30
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced via diplomatic
note on June 9 that the "Books, a Means of Collaboration and
Progress" trade show will take place on September 28-30 under
the auspices of the Turkmen State Publication Service. The
conference will cover topics such as Turkmenistan's literary
heritage, establishing contacts, and world literature.
Presentations, lectures, and reports are also planned.
Conference organizers will bear all participant expenses --
including transportation, meals and hotel accommodation --
while at the conference.
2. Conference applicants should send a written description
of the exhibit, including weight, size, and value (for
customs purposes). If the applicant plans on delivering a
lecture, a brief description of the report should be
included. Applicants should include in the applications:
-- full name,
-- indication of who is head of delegation, if more than one
person is representing a country or company,
-- date and place of birth,
-- place of employment,
-- current position or title,
-- telephone number(s),
-- fax number,
-- e-mail address,and
-- address.
