DCM delivered advance notice of the of the conclusion of the
Special 301 review to MFA Americas Department Chief Serdar
Bashimov. Bashimov said that the Turkmenistan government
takes steps to ensure that IPR is observed in Turkmenistan.
Every year, Turkmenistan provides the U.S. Embassy with steps
that have been taken to better safeguard IPR and is working
to improve IPR protections.
