1. (S) We delivered the non-paper containing additional
information on the shipment of UAVs from Iran to Venezuela
(ref a) as well as the unclassified slide containing a
photograph and specifications of the Mohajer 2 (ref b) to MFA
Nonproliferation and Disarmament Acting Department Head
Mustafa Yurdakul on April 15. Yurdakul expressed
appreciation for the additional information and promised to
relay it to appropriate agencies. He said Turkey recognizes
the seriousness of this shipment, is committed to prevent it,
and its border control authorities are already on a
heightened state of vigilance concerning this shipment.
