(S) The Ambassador raised reftel points with MFA
Undersecretary Ertugrul Apakan on Saturday, April 3. MFA
officials shared our concerns about North Korea's launch of
the TD-2 and also our interpretation that such a launch
constituted a violation of UNSCR 1718. They pledged to
instruct their delegation in New York to support a resolution
condemning the launch.
