INITIATIVE MEETING

PolChief, Russian DCM and Netherlands DCM delivered on
January 19 reftel demarche on the 5th Global Initiative to
Combat Nuclear Terrorism plenary meeting to be hosted by the
Netherlands in June to Jordanian interlocutors at the Foreign
Ministry. Interlocutors were Daifallah Al Fayez, First
Secretary, European Department; Mohamed Tarawneh, Third
Secretary, International Organizations Department; Nidal T.
Al Sharairi, Attache, International Organizations Department;
and Khaled A. Bani Salman, Attache, Americas Department.
There was no substantive discussion about the initiative on
the part of the Jordanians. Al Fayez promised to convey the
information to the Minister's office.
