COMMITTEE DESIGNATION OF DPRK ENTITIES

EmbOffs delivered reftel demarche on May 27 and June 2 to
Ministry of Finance Secretary General Izzeddin Kanakrieh and
Director of Studies and Economic Policies Ayman Khalaileh,
and Chief of the Anti-Money Laundering Unit (AMLU) Adnan
Lahaseh respectively. Kanakrieh welcomed the information and
commended UNSC action, but noted that the three designated
DPRK entities were not active in Jordan and did not have
relationships with Jordanian banks. Lahaseh, in addition to
updating AMLU records, said he would share the information
with the Central Bank of Jordan.
