1. Per Ref A and B, the Central Bank of the ROC (Taiwan) has
searched and found the following two foreign exchange (FX)
transactions with one entity whose names coincided with one of the
three Democratic People's Republic of KOREA (DPRK) entities subject
to the Presidential Statement (PRST) issued by the UN Security
Council on April 13, 2009. Please note these transactions took
place several years ago and are provided for reference only. Please
advise if further action is necessary.
2. On December 19, 2001, Ms. Tsai Hui-shien remitted US$133,282.79
as loan repayment to Changgwang Credit Bank, an f.k.a. of Tanchon
Commercial Bank (Ref B).
3. On December 5, 2003, Ching Hwee International Trading Co. Ltd.
received payment of EUR 104,682.41 (equivalent to US$126,508.69) for
exports by Ching Hwee from Tanchon Commercial Bank. Ref C reported
that Ching Hwee has been penalized by Taiwan authorities for its
trading with DPRK.
