(U) Per reftel, Poloff delivered the demarche to Dr. Kojo
Assan, Director, International Organizations and Multilateral
Bureau at the Ghana MFA. Assan stated that Ghana has followed
the UNSC debate concerning North Korea's nuclear test and
that GOG believes in nuclear non-proliferation. He said that
the Foreign Ministry will work with appropriate government
entities to ensure all cargo en route between Ghana and North
Korea does not contain prohibited items.
