Ref email requested that post conduct a post-shipment verification for an Electric Heater used in oil field related air compressors exported as No License Required by the FSElliott company, Export, PA. ¶2. On September 14, 2009 Export Control Officer met with Mr. Ali Ahmed Safan, Senior Sales Engineer, Habshan Trading Company at their Abu Dhabi Offices. Safan advised that Habshan Trading is an oil field supplies and equipment company. He was aware of US export restrictions in the region and indicated that Habshan's only business is with the Government of Abu Dhabi owned oil and gas industry. ¶3. Safan was well aware of this Electric Heater shipment due to the fact that it had arrived nearly a month late because it was wrongly misrouted to Brazil by the freight forwarder but finally arrived in the UAE on 23 June 2009. Safan stated that this Heater was sold to the Abu Dhabi Government owned Gas Company (GASCO) for use in oil field air compressors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Safan provided relevant correspondence indicating that GASCO was the end user for this transaction. ¶4. Post considers the Habshan Trading Company to be a reliable recipient of U.S. origin items for this transaction. OLSON
