Reftels requested that post conduct post-shipment verifications at Jet Aviation, Dubai International Airport for the shipment of Air Show 4000 related equipment and a multifunction processor unit both exported as No License Required by Rockwell Collins, Wichita, KS. ¶2. On February 10, 2009, Export Control Officer (ECO) met with Michael Rucker, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Jet Aviation, Dubai International Airport. Rucker explained that Jet Aviation is one of the World's largest Private/Executive aviation maintenance companies. It is owned by General Dynamics Corporation and its headquarters are in Switzerland (www.jetaviation.com). Rucker was well aware of U.S. export control restrictions to embargoed destinations. ¶3. Regarding these two shipments, Rucker explained that the Air Show 4000 (shows real-time flight information to passengers) was installed in a Gulfstream G-450, Tail No. VQ-BGA, Aircraft serial 4123 (UK - Bermuda Registry). The other shipment: Multifunction processor unit was installed on Hawker 800XP, Tail No. VHSGY, Aircraft serial RG-8328 (Australia Registry). Both of these are private executive/corporate aircraft. Rucker provided detailed relevant documentation for these shipments including the goods received note, work orders, and the FAA Release certificates. ¶4. Post considers Jet Aviation to be a reliable recipient of U.S. origin items for these transactions. OLSON
