¶1. Ref email requested that post conduct a post-shipment
verification for Automatic Pilot systems exported as No License
Required by Rapid LLC, Wichita, KS.
¶2. On November 30 and Dec 1, 2009 Export Control Officer attempted
to physically locate Rapid Dubai at both the Sharjah Airport and
the Sharjah Airport Freezone. ECO was unable to locate any
warehouse designated as 37/2 as listed in the SED. After
considerable effort ECO identified warehouse 37/1 at the Sharjah
Airport Freezone. Locals were unaware of the existence of a
warehouse 37/2 or the company Rapid Dubai. There is no identifiable
registration information for Rapid Dubai in the Dubai Chamber or
Sharjah Airport Freezone directories.
¶3. Post considers this check to be inconclusive as we were unable
to locate Rapid Dubai.
