(C) On December 3 pol-mil officer delivered reftel points to
Andrej Dogan the new Director of the MFA's International
Security Department. Dogan expressed Croatia's support for
ISAF and its operations. He noted that the Croatian
parliament had approved an increase in the GoC's contribution
to ISAF in 2008 but that CROATIA could not expand beyond the
approximately 300 troops already serving there in 2009.
Dogan stated that CROATIA might be interested in providing
some civilian election observers, but that he would have to
discuss the idea further within the MFA.
