Given departure on December 12 of Croatian Prime Minister,
Foreign Minister, and other key members of the GOC's foreign
policy team for New York in advance of the UN Ministerial on
Somali piracy, Poloff delivered reftel demarche points
regarding the UNSC resolution on the Annapolis Process to
Vesna Vukovic, head of the MFA's UN office. We have urged
the MFA to share the points with the Croatian delegation in
New York, but would suggest that USUN engage directly with
the Croatians in New York for any necessary follow-up.
