(S/NF) On Friday November 7, 2008 Croatian National Antonio Coratti called the Embassy to say he had information about the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden and requested a meeting at the Embassy. Coratti arrived at the Embassy and presented Croatian passport number 001104029, issued 06 Aug 2002, as a means of identification. Coratti was thoroughly screened by LGF and interviewed by the RSO and visiting A/Legatt from Sarajevo. Coratti stated that his ex-girlfriend, Anna Di Giusto, had business dealings in Switzerland with one of Bin Laden's brothers but she thinks this person is really Osama Bin Laden. Coratti stated that Di Giusto told him Bin Laden is now clean shaven and has adopted a "European" appearance. He provided no further information about Bin Laden and no reason why Di Giusto has this suspicion. ¶2. (S/NF) Record checks conducted by RSO and RAO revealed no record for Coratti and Di Giusto. Coratti seemed to be of sound mind but he may have a grudge against Di Giusto and wants attention drawn to her for unknown reasons. Attempts to contact Di Giusto were unsuccessful. After the interview, Coratti exited the Embassy without incident. ¶3. (SBU) The following is biographical information for Coratti and Di Giusto as provided by Coratti: ¶A.
