Econoff delivered reftel demarche and background information
to Karolina Zalach, Chief of Section in the Ministry of
Infrastructure's Department of Maritime Security. Zalach
said her Ministry would be very interested in looking into
participation in the Global Maritime Partnership initiative.
However, Zalach added, the broad scope of the GMP initiative
would require her to consult with other ministries and other
offices within the Ministry of Infrastructure. She said she
would contact the embassy after she had the opportunity to
consult with other ministries and offices.
