(C) The Polish Permrep in Brussels has been instructed to
recommend there be no Prep Com meetings until October 15, and
that the bi-monthly gathering should meet only once a month
after that. POLOFF delivered reftel demarche to Piotr
Soltysiak of the MFA Security Policy Department. Soltysiak
said that Poland saw the issue of Russia in the NRC in much
the same light as the U.S., and that instructions had already
been delivered to Brussels in advance of the September 23
Permrep luncheon.
