On November 17 we met with Martynas Lukosevicius of the MFA's
Arms Control and Terrorism Prevention Division, and provided
him with Treasury's press statement and fact sheet per
guidance in reftel. He promised to share this information
with the Financial Crimes Investigation Unit (FNTT) and the
State Security Department (VSD). He also reminded us that
Lithuania had denied exports to Iran in the past, due to dual
use concerns, even though the goods in question were not on a
control list.
