In separate meetings at the MFA September 4, both Rita
Kazragiene, Head of the UN Division, and Nerijus
Aleksiejunas, Acting Head of the EU Enlargement Division,
told us that the GOL will not support Serbia's resolution
calling for an advisory opinion from the International Court
of Justice regarding the legality of Kosovo's declaration of
independence (reftel). Kazragiene added, however, that the
GOL "will probably not actively oppose this initiative
either."
