Audrius Sceponavicius, director of the MoH's Public Health
Department and coordinator of the GOL's inter-ministerial
working group on pandemic influenza, told us on September 3
that the Minister of Health, Gediminas Cerniauskas, is likely
to head the GOL's delegation to the Avian and Pandemic
Influenza (API) conference in Egypt October 25-26. If the
Minister's schedule does not allow him to participate, the
delegation will be led by the Vice Minister, Algirdas
Seselgis.
