Dambrauskas said the Lithuanians were aware of our concerns
over a possible MED-D SOFA and shared them. He said he
expects Lithuania will support the USG position at the
September 2 meeting of NATO legal advisors. He undertook to
pass our demarche on to MoND legal advisors, who will attend
the meeting.
