Diana Mickeviciene, Head of the MFA's Asia, Pacific, and
Latin AMERICA Division, told us on August 11 that the GOL
supports strong sanctions on Burma. She added that the EU
will revisit Burma in September. She noted that Brussels
strictly enforces current sanctions, which are dynamic and
expandable, particularly the annex of sanctioned individuals
and enterprises.
