Post discussed ref a points December 3 with MFA Arms Control
and Terrorism Prevention Division Second Secretary Dontatas
Vainalavicius. He re-affirmed that Lithuania "looks
favorably" on the revised U.S. criteria-based proposals for
Nuclear Supplier's Group control of transfers of enrichment
and reprocessing equipment and technology. He also said the
Lithuanians joined consensus at the November 19 Consultative
Group meeting in Vienna and have no plans to change position.
