(U) Polchief discussed reftel points October 10 with Andreas
Launer, MFA unit chief for IAEA, CTBTO Prep Com, and NPT.
Launer said the GOA supports the goals of the technical
workshop, noting that the EU has pursued similar efforts to
bring together Arab and Israeli scientists. He noted that
there did not appear to be any role for European countries in
the workshop.
