1.(SBU) DCM conveyed reftel points to Joseph Cole, MFA
Director for Global Affairs and Malta's senior action officer
on Nuclear Suppliers Group matters.
2.(SBU) Cole asssured DCM that Malta (which joined the NSG
quite recently) would do nothing at the upcoming plenary to
jeopardize the acceptance of the draft. He said he had just
conveyed this position to the Indian High Commissioner, who
had also approached him about the matter.
