Mahmoud Abbas, Foreign Minister Tonio Borg informed
Ambassador Bordonaro that Malta would officially recognize
Kosovo by the end of July. As reported reftels, Borg told
embassy officials that Malta would not recognize Kosovo until
the new Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee had been
formed and briefed on the matter, which took place on July 7.
The final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister and
announced in the coming weeks.
