April 23, PolOff delivered the reftel demarche on Turkey's
Change of Status at the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development to Charles Inguanez, MFA Director-General for
Economic Affairs. Inguanez said he appreciated being made
aware of the US view, but offered no opinion or indication of
how Malta would view Turkey's change of status.
