2. USUN received the following (para 3) letter from the UN
requesting information for inclusion in the UN 2007 Juridical
Yearbook. Action Request. Please send response to USUN for
transmittal to the UN by July 1, 2008.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations presents his
compliments to the Permanent Representative of the United
States of America to the United Nations and has the honour to
refer to General Assembly resolutions 1814 (XVII) and 3006
(XXVII) of 18 December 1962 and 18 December 1072
respectively, concerning the publication of the United
Nations Juridical Yearbook.
In connection with the preparation of the Juridical
Yearbook for 2007, the Secretary-General would be grateful to
receive documents of two kinds, namely:
(1) the text of any laws or regulations enacted by
His/Her Excellency's Government in 2007 relating to the legal
status or privileges and immunities of the United Nations,
the specialized agencies, the International Atomic Energy
Agency, the World Trade Organization, the Preparatory
Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty
Organizations, or the Organization for the Prohibition of
Chemical Weapons; and
(2) the text or a brief description of any decisions
made in 2007 by the tribunals of His/Her Excellency's country
on questions relating to the United Nations, the specialized
agencies, or the other related organizations mentioned above.
In view of the time limits which have been set for
publication of the United Nations Juridical Yearbook, the
Secretary-General would appreciate receiving at the present

additional information as it becomes available but in any
event no later than 1 July 2008. End Text.
