(SBU) Per reftel, Post informed the Government of Mongolia July 17
of the USG's designation of several Iranian entities and individuals
for their support of nuclear weapons proliferation. Post urged the
GOM to take parallel steps in preventing the facilitation of Iran's
proliferation activities. Mr. Mounkhou, Acting Director of the
Americas, Mideast and Africa Bureau thanked Post for the
information. Post does not anticipate any further GOM feedback but
will forward any such information immediately.
