(C) The Ambassador met with Minister of Foreign Affairs
Abdelwaheb Abdullah August 29 and conveyed the points in
reftel urging the GOT to issue a public statement condemning
Russia,s recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
Minister Abdullah replied that Tunisia does not have a policy
on recent events in Georgia although it is following recent
events closely. He noted that Tunisia does not have
relations with Georgia although it does with Russia,
Kazakhstan and Armenia.
