1. (U) EmbOff contacted Royal Netherlands AIR FORCE (RNLAF)
officials to inquire about application 050125454 for the
export of C-130 aircraft components to the Netherlands. The
RNLAF did order the items listed reftel from Trans-Aero.
2. (SBU) RNLAF officials said they had an ongoing procurement
relationship with Trans-Aero. They said Trans-Aero does have
a small office in the Netherlands, but it is little more than
a desk. It is standard RNLAF procedure for all goods
purchased from Trans-Aero to be shipped from the United
States to Dubai Duty Free Zone, where the goods are quality
checked and shipped onward to the RNLAF's Eindhoven base.
